Random: family, school, my life, and Lady GaGa

Hello my lovely readers,

I haven't wrote in forever so I felt the need to inform you all on my crazy life. psshk i wish it was crazy...well it kind of is.

My Family:
My family is doing very well, we are all still broken inside but moving on slowly. My grandma is out of town spending time with her sisters who she hasn't seen in a while. She defiantly needs this time with them, I honestly think it's the best way for her to heal. In the mean time I am dog sitting her pup two days out of the week so she's not that lonely at night or during the day. She's a fragile little dog. Currently my other grandma's sister and brother in law are in bad health so i'm praying hard for good health for them.

My School:
My school is freaking hard! I swear college isn't easy and it isn't cheap. I swear people just don't understand how expensive being a student in photography or interior designing. You are constantly buying supplies for classes such as matte boards ($5-20), envelopes($4), gallery tickets($20), photo paper($20-30). Then you got your one time expense of a camera body ranging 980-1,200 and lens ranging 400-1,400 and one lens is never enough for the school either by the time you graduate they want you to have at least two to three. Lunch.... transportation...proper clothing for the windy city. It's really expensive after you add everything up monthly. I probably spend $200 monthly plus $480 for monthly tuition. I wasn't the lucky girl who got a lot of financial aid, I got $600. Hard shizz man! then the classes are complicated and boring all at the same time.

Life:
My life as Silvia isn't the easiest life to live, it can be fun but its hard. it comes with a lot of duties. I'm not looking for love at the moment but I am looking for someone to be by my side. I found someone great but times are rough for the both of us and I think our problems collided are only a warning of a train wreck. Maybe one day who knows, but he is sweet and adorkable! I've been approached twice and then i melt with adoringness and then we are face to face and it's silent...come on man! you made your move, I made my move, now king me! This is why i hate the internet sometimes.

Music: I have been listening to A LOT! of Lady GaGa lately I swear she is my soul! I walk down the streets of chicago dancing and singing to myself and i get these stares like what the fudge is her problem? she's weird! one day i'm gonna just shout "BABY I WAS BORN THIS WAY!I swear i get looked at like im some alien sometimes and it's so annoying but, I ignore those fuckers and do my thing. Oh the concert was amazing!! I had a wonderful time! she was beyond amazing! gahh!

I just recently bought the new Viva Glam GaGa lipstick from mac, it looks amazing!! I also bought the new maybelline mascara so you know what that means review coming up.

Well thank you all for reading up on whats going on through my life, I might talk more about that guy...I am unsure at the moment though.

Update: BLIZZARD!, Cold, School, Glee, and Super bowl.

Hello my lovely blogspot friends,

How have you all been? I hope wonderful if not tell me why email me, i'm here to listen. :)

So today an official Blizzard warning was sent for the chicago midwest. Which is crazy insane you would think the way people were acting they sent a blizzard warning to florida. People are bombarding the grocery stores, targets, and walmarts it is beyond insane over here. I am crossing my fingers that my classes get canceled because I don't want to get on the train and possibly end up either stranded on the tracks or stranded in downtown, both would be horrible because tracks are scary to be stuck on because they are electric you can blow up and trying to get a hotel room downtown in a blizzard is next to impossible not to mention im under 21 so i wouldn't even be able to check myself in! So keep your fingers crossed they cancel classes and I don't have to travel in scary conditions and it's important to go if there is classes because I have a test in my history class and a field trip in communications class. which they want us to travel from the school to a gallery then from that gallery to another gallery....in that snow? no way! pshhk who do i looke like a cave woman? psshk! So thats the big news in the midwest...BLIZZARD!

I'm finally getting over my cold with is a blessing because a month sick is crazy! My grandma is slowly getting better because she is older her immune system isn't as fast as someone younger but, she is back to her old self. :) I gave in and started talking medicine i usually try to avoid medicine as much as i can and get better naturally. So i started taking a target brand medicine for vicks daily congestion relief and it worked fabulous, i also started one a day vitacrave gummies which is a vitamin for your immune system and that has been working as well. I was taking the big vitamin pills but i had a bad reaction to the pill it'self i think it got stuck in my system and created build up making some serious acid reflects.....GROSSNESS! i know!

School has been okay I made my self to eager for it and my excitment went out the window when i discovered im taking the boring classes all spring semester. But when i get my proper supplise i will be able to take the fun and exciting classes, sorry i can't say which school im attending but i want to be safe if you know what im talking about. I also refuse to fallow any of the professors on this page because they have all their info out in the open...um HELLO! some crazy guy can come and rob you or snatch you and do bad things! I like to stay safe! i got my hairspray and lighter ready to blow someone up!

Oh Glee reviews! I haven't forgot! i bet you all thought i forgot! pssshk who do you think i am? I have been working hard on them all weekend. I rewatched all the episodes and rewrote the reviews the old ones i had excluding rocky and never been (because they got deleted) were waaaaay to professional i read them and was like who the heck is this? it's not me! so i made them a little more unprofessional and little more laid back. I made them more into a recap and inserted my opinions where ever i desired as to the ones i wrote first it was a full on recap and then a small opinion paragraph which im sure some would have liked but thats not me. So it's going back to normal my reviews are all not the same, they have been changing because i can't stick to one style but for now this is how they look:

So i hope you all like that layout thats how it's going to be for awhile and might slowly change through time. I am working on screen stills right now since apperantly you have to give aknowlegment to where ever you got it, and i just type in the title into google photos and grab the best one. So im just going to get my own since i have the dvd but when the show premiers i might grab them from hulu. im not sure we will see when the time comes. Oh im also adding more photos to the glee reviews which makes me super excited! i like alot of picture not too many but a few more to explain the review a little more.

I've gotten a little more serious on the Glee reviews because it's in high demand I didn't think it would be but it is. I'm glad you all love my reviews and i will keep writing them if i have the passion and time to do so. the biggest review as of now is grilled cheesus which is at 780 something insane! i was expecting only 90 like the others.I love you all soo much!

So whos excited for the new episode after the super bowl? I know I am! i'll be sure to review as soon as i can but no promises i have two big projects due that week. Oh and the new episode on tuesday! EXCITING! GLEE OVERLOAD! happening! :D who are you cheering for in the super bowl? I don't like the packers and i kept an eye on the steelers along with the bears. this year i wasn't really into football but i had my eyeballs out on the scores and stuff. So GO STEELERS! :)

I'm enabling the comments but with approval starting tomorrow evening when I post the glee review. you all wanted it back so i figured it couldn't hurt to put it back and give it a try but, you all have to show some silvia blog lovins! Silvia's advice will start in March for sure! maybe mid february. you excited i know i am.

So if you lasted through this long blog that probably made no sense! I <3 you! sorry for all the spelling errors it probably drove a bazillion people crazy. Glee reviews every evening starting tuesday evening unless, my power gets knocked out from the storm wednesday.

Silvia's advice: Makeup for work and school.

Subject: Makeup for work and school.
Question: what are some good make up products i can use for school and work without spending 40 minutes in front of the mirror?

So yesterday in my blog i mentioned i would make a little make up video of a look you can wear to school every day. well I FAILED! My lighting was horrible, My memory card wasnt taking good video, I kept messing up. It was horrible not to mention i dropped my 88 pallet on my hard wood floor and 10 shadows fell out of the pallet. =( so this blog will just be about product that you can use every day for a quick make up fix before your first class of the day or work, and inexpensive.

Foundation:
I don't like putting on foundation or pressed powder before going to school or work so the perfect coverage for me is a tinted moisturizer. Its great for summer and its great for working women on the go.
Sephora's tinted moisterizer is just as amazing as Laura Mercier's Tinted moisturizer

The tinted moisturizer is $21.00 and last me about 3-4 months maybe longer you dont need much for a good coverage. its a whole lot cheaper than lauras thats for sure, its half price.

Concealer:
I only put on concealer if its a must but, we all have those mean pimples that like to pop up on our face while we are sleeping. so a good concealer to use with your tinted moisturizer is Mac select cover up.

its $16.50 and works like an eraser im quiet found of their studio sculpt concealer as well.

Eye primer:
eye primer is obviously a must im really digging the Mary Kay eye primer works good and is cheaper than urban decay primer potion, which too is an amazing primer.

it cost 12.00 and is in a squeeze too better for application.

Eye Shadow:
As much as we all like our individual eye shadows or dust i find that the Coastal scents 88 warm pallet is the best go to pallet for a quick simple look in the morning. you make a simple eye to a really dramatic smoky eye.

it's only $24.00 for 88 colors thats a deal right there.

Cheeks:
Blush is optional to many people, i dont wear blush every day just the days i want to dress up my makeup with some blush and lipstick.

Lips:
I love Mary Kays tinted lip balms, they give you a little color with some moisture at the same time. along with that i like lip stains they last almost all day and you can dress it up with your favorite clear or shiny lip gloss. =)

And thats what i pretty much use every day...with the exception of all the foundation, sometimes i just dont use it at all.
