Review/ Recap: Glee; The Substitue feat. Gwyneth Paltrow

“The Substitute” featuring Gwyneth Paltrow Air date: November 16, 2010



Sue becomes principle after she makes Lauren purposely sneeze on Mr. Figgins whiles she has a nasty cold causing him to get the flu. When Will greets Sue in the morning she stops to correct him making him call her Principle Sue. She proceeds to tell him she plans to destroy Glee club while walking away Lauren sneezes in Wills face. Will starts feeling sick when he is in Glee practice and starts losing It when he see the Glee club as little children. Which I thought was so adorable because they all look like the actual characters (at the bottom of blog there is direct links to photos and videos). Will goes home sick and Terry pays him a visit to nurse him back to health. Rachel thinks she is head of the Glee club while Mr. Schuester is gone, and she drives everyone crazy. Mercedes shows he obsession of tator tots in the lunch room when they bring in a new batch.



We meet Ms. Holly Holliday when she becomes the Spanish substitute for Wills Spanish class and teaches the class how to say Lindsey Lohan is crazy. Kurt interrupts class to be Ms. Holliday to because the Glee substitute and becomes very happy and accepts. Puck tries to pull a trick on Ms. Holliday and puts butter on the floor, it makes Rachel slip and fall but Ms. Holliday doesn’t fall for it and slides right through without falling leaving Kurt to slip and fall right behind her. This scene had me laughing for a good 4 minutes uncontrollable silly I know but I couldn’t help myself. Ms. Holliday comes in and speaks their mind when she tells them their performance at regional’s wasn’t good because it wasn’t song they picked, When she asked them what they wanted to sing they were completely speechless. She shows the class what she got when she performs “forget you” while Rachel sits in the back mad and the others are dancing and singing along.



Sue starts her evil ways as principle when she tries to cut the football team and ban tator tots from the cafeteria. Mean while Will is dreaming about performing “make em laugh” with Mike. Rachel pays Mr. Schuester a visit to talk about Ms. Holliday taking over glee club because Sue likes her and the rest like her too. Mercedes gets insanely upset when Sue takes away her tots. Ms. Holliday wins Rachel’s love when she accepts a duet invitation to Rachel’s singing and dance number of her dreams. Terry is still comforting Will while he is sick, Terry does more than comfort when she rubs Vicks on his back and things gets a little steamy. Mercedes creates a riot in the cafeteria when she holds up a tots sign.



Rachel and Ms. Holliday perform “nowadays/ hot honey rags” with an amazing dancer performance. When will returns to school Sue send him right out when she informs him that he is fired and she is at the top because of her healthier eating plans for the school. So there is no reason for Mr. Figgins to return because he is fired too. Mercedes goes out to dinner with Kurt and Blaine after she has been feeling neglected by Kurt. When she finally gets to hang out with them both she zones out because she has nothing in common with their conversation and has nothing but tots on the mind. Will confronts Holly about taking his job and getting the kids too excited with too much freedom. She tells him that a connection with the kids is important and it’s hard to get a good teaching job and leaves it at that. Mercedes causes trouble for herself when she does 17,000 worth of damage to Ms. Sylvester’s car. Sue is in an uproar when Holly shows now big concern for what Mercedes did.



Holly goes to Wills apartment where she has a break down and tells Will about Mercedes shoving tots up Sues tail pipe and she didn’t know what to say or do in the office and let Mercedes get suspended. Holly tells Will about her past (trying to be traditionally nice gets her knocked out and her air jordens stolen) which leads her to be mellow and fun and not committed to anything for a long time. Terry walks in on Will and Holly having a conversation and instantly gets jealous. When Holly introduces herself Terry insults her name by asking if she was a porn star or drag queen then introduces herself as Wills wife, and Holly says to will “wow your wife is a bitch” giving Will the opportunity to snap at Terry calling her his EX wife and tell her the night before was a mistake. When will asks Terry to leave and never come back again she gets mad and tells him if she leaves that’s it! What do you think about that one night mistake? Hmm do you think they are going to make that night a longer story than expected? Hmm When Terry leaves he tells Holly he is considering her lifestyle with no consequences.



Kurt confronts Mercedes when she sneaks in tots telling her she is substituting food for love and Kurt for a boyfriend and asks her to take care of herself and give herself a little more respect. Mercedes agrees and considers talking to Anthony who Kurt suggested to her earlier. Dave threatens to kill Kurt if he spills what happened in the locker room. Sue returns Wills job after the New Directions convinced her to bring him back. When Mr. Schuester talks about doing a number from singing in the rain that was made in the 1950’s the kids get upset and he goes to Holly for advice. They all sing Singing in the rain/ Umbrella.

I simply adored this episode I think Gwyneth really brought fun and happiness in the episode and I really hope they consider bringing her back for more episodes.

Review/ Recap: Glee; Never Been Kissed.

“Never been kissed” Air date: November 9, 2010

Finn and Sam discuss how they forget about putting out since they both have girlfriends that wont go all the way. When Sam asks Finn how he gets passed it he tells Sam about his mail man story Sam finds his own mailman story when coach Beiste walks in yelling at Artie (to wear a jock strap) and she is picking a mean wedgies. Puck is welcomed back to school after being in juvenile jail for driving into a store taking out a atm machine. Mr. Schuester reveals the sectionals competition an all boys school The Dolton academy Warblers (which Santana has jokes in her head) and The Hipsters a bunch of elderly getting their GED. The Glee club thinks its wrong to go against a bunch of cute old people but Puck convinces them they have nothing to worry about. To get the kids excited and ready for sectionals Mr. Schuester makes a 2nd annual boys vs. girls competition.



Puck helps Artie with advice and pushing him around the school for his community service. Kurt continues to be bullied by Dave and it starts to get to him and Mr. Schuester notices it. When Kurt tells Mr. Schuester he’s not being challenged enough he mixes up the competition by having the boys sing songs traditionally sung by woman and girls the opposite as well. Sam and Quinn get a little close and steamy and when Sam needs to put his mind in a different place he pictures coach Beiste in lingerie cutting meat and, when Quinn tells him to say her name he pictures Beiste in a cheerleading outfit and says Beiste’s name instead of Quinn. Uh oh that is never good in any situation. Quinn tell Sue about the incident with Sam and convinces her to make the story public so they can bring Beiste down.



Puck shows Artie that cash is kind and pulls out his guitar and starts singing “One love” with Artie and walks around the grounds showing people that they should pay up. A little demanding don’t you think? Puck offers to help Artie with his Brittany situation and take the money they just got and take the girls out for dinner and put his skills to work. Artie accepts and Puck community service. Kurt sneaks into Dolton Academy and is welcomed by Blaine when Kurt asks where everyone is going. When he realizes that people their think Glee club is cool he is welcomed in by a performance by the warblers singing teenage dream. Mike reveals the Beiste secret to Tina and she gets turned on by it and brings mike into a room to get steamy. When they are getting steamy Tina pictures beiste in a tutu and says her name aloud, when Mike makes notice of what she said Tina denies it and walks out.

Sam is questioned about Beiste by Quinn and is quick to accuse him of getting it in where ever he can including the boys locker room with Beiste. Just then coach Beiste happens to walk by and Quinn shouts “it’s a lovers swirl and it’s your fault” to beiste. With a shocked reaction Mike walks by Beiste warning her to stay away from his girlfriend. Mr. Schuester questions Sam about what just happened and Sam confesses to picturing Beiste when they are trying to think about something else. Mr. Schuester yells at them for doing such a thing and reminds them that it is hurting her. After Kurt is busted for spying Blaine, wes, & david sit to talk to him and offer him a latte. When Kurt learns they have zero tolerance for bullying he confesses to Blaine about his troubles at school. Blaine completely understands where Kurt is coming from and gives him advice to stand up to his bullies because, he got chased out of his old school by bullies and he regrets not standing up to them.



While the girls are discussing last years competition Puck and Artie walk in and offer Brittany and Santana a deal for dinner, If they show up at breadsticks and they don’t find hot dates that night they might show up. Of course them being…well…dumb they fell for it. Later Puck and Artie are at dinner with the girls and Puck is sharing a lovely story about his “waffles” while Artie is playing hard to get with Brittany. When the check comes to the table Puck wants to bail without paying the check but Artie can’t bail so he stays behind to pay and Puck gets upset that he paid and leaves Artie behind and takes the girls back to his house.



The girls perform Start me up/ Livin on a prayer with full out leather outfits and rocker hair and makeup. Was it just me or did this look make them look their actual age? Hmm Sue tells will about Coach Beiste quitting but shooting off confetti cannons and gives thanks to his glee kids for finally kicking her out. When Kurt gets pushed into the lockers by Dave he builds up the courage to go after him and stand up for himself. He shouts to Dave “What is his problem” and Dave keeps threatening to hit him Kurt tells him to go ahead and hit him Dave kisses him instead. When Dave pulls away and goes in for another one Kurt pulls back, Dave then runs out mad at what he just did. So many questions got answered when this happened it’s like oh that’s why he was beings so mean especially to Kurt. Talk about shocker of the season!



Mr. Schuester tells the boys about Coach quitting and they are shocked and he tells them to find a way to bring her back and they should be ashamed of themselves. He is then called into the office with Puck when his probation officer finds out he isn’t doing proper community service she threatens to put him back in Juvenile jail if he doesn’t find another community service and raise his geometry grade. Blaine comes to McKinley high to help confront Dave about what he did and he comepletely denies everything and starts to threaten Blaine for bringing it to attention. Kurt gets really upset and tells blaine he was never kissed before yesterday. How horrible for Dave to take something so precious away from Kurt he’s such a bully! Arrrg!



Will goes to Shannon to talk her into staying, Shannon tells Will that she is just a who wants to be treated like one sometimes. She confesses she’s never been kissed and Will consoles her by saying she is beautiful and gives Shannon her first kiss. Will asks Shannon to come to the Glee room because the boys have something they want to tell her. Artie convinces Puck to stay after he catches Puck getting ready to run and confessing that Juvenile jail was horrible. Artie offers to tutor him in geometry while he picks up garbage on side streets and Puck apologizes for everything he did and accepts Arties offer. Kurt continues to be bullied.



The boys perform Stop in the name of love/ free your mind as an apology to coach and compliments her on how pretty she looks.
I thought the episode was fabulous because it shows the troubles of bullying it is not fun at all! Nor is it funny to watch! I think the show had a good idea in the message of bullying but didn’t fully go into it too much. Oh one more thing did anyone feel like in the girls performance Rachel and Brittany weren’t Rachel and Brittany? I felt like I was watching Lea Michelle and Heather Morris perform. Which is not a good thing…but I still loved it. :)

Review/ Recap: Glee; Rocky Horror Glee show

“Rocky horror glee show” Air date: October 26, 2010

In the beginning they start the show just like movies with big red lips. The lips are Santana’s and she sings “science fiction double feature” I wonder what lipstick they used to make those lips so bright. Rachel and Finn are rehearsing in the auditorium to “There’s a light (over at Frankenstein’s place)” when Carl interrupts them half way through on a motorcycle shouting at Will for messing with his woman. Will goes back to the reason why this all started and it’s because Emma mentioned to Will that she went to a midnight showing of Rocky Horror. Will notices how much Carl has gotten Emma out of her Germ phobia shell when she has her crust on her bread, attending a filthy theater, and decides to go trick or treating. Out of Jealousy Will mentions he is doing Rocky horror for the fall musical, Emma is shocked they he picked such material to do.

When Mr. Schuester enters the room to tell kids Brittany is telling Kurt she is being a Peanut allergy for Halloween. She’s being what? Haha we should write a book of all the crazy things Brittany says. When Mr. Schuester announces the exciting news the Glee club shows a little concern but eases up when will assures them it’s okay and they will be charging admission for their regional’s trip. Mr. Schuester starts to mention characters Rachel jumps up and says she will play the role of Janet and Finn will play Brad. Artie already assumes he will be playing the guy in wheel chair (doctor Scott) and Mr. Schuester agrees and tells Kurt he wants him to play Frank N. Furter He refuses to play such a role and Mike Steps up to take the role. Sam takes the role of Rocky and Kurt takes the role of Riff Raff and the girls have to double as Magentas and Columbias. When Finn learns he is going to be in his boxers for a scene he gets really self conscious.

Sue tells the world they lost the true meaning in Halloween which is fear. After Sue’s segment she is approached by the local stage managers from the news while she is carving a pumpkin with her face on it, to tell her will is seeking stage rights to “Rocky Horror”. Sue gets upset at the words Rocky Horror she remembers people throwing toast at her sister which she thinks because of her disabilities(and we all know its part of the show bet her) and gets angered and agrees to do an undercover expose’ which she thinks will win her a Emmy.

When the glee club is in glass getting ready to practice Santana and Brittany criticize Finns body again. Rachel gets mad and tells them that was rude and Quinn fires back and tells them boys do the same thing and Santana tells them about what Artie said about her boobs earlier (if he can make an omelet when she’s done with the ostrich eggs she has in her bra). They then practice “Damn it Janet” with Finn in his costume glasses which I found to be super adorable on him and couldn’t help but laugh for a good two minutes. In the middle of the practice Sue walks in and pulls Will to the hall to tell him she heard about him doing the Rocky horror and she’s okay with it because, she cares about the performing arts. Will then offers sue the part as the criminologist and she agrees and tells him she will be at practice along with her rewrites because, she has say in the final script. We all knew it was too good to be true when sue was acting nice.


Sam discusses work out and eating habbits with Finn and Artie and tells them eating a chili dog makes him feel guilty and works extra hard the next few days to work it off. Will asks Emma to help him with the costumes for the show and she accepts with excitement. In the mean time Mike interrupts and tells Mr. Schuester he can’t play Frank because his parents read the script and don’t want him to play or dress like a “transvestite”. Will tells sue he lost his Frank N Furter and the show is cancelled and she finds a way to make it work. She walks into Emma’s office where she and Carl are discussing their Halloween costumes and she gets the bright idea to ask Carl to be in the musical. When Carl shows up in class Will gets angered and told Carl he has to try out like everyone else so he sings “Whatever happened to Saturday night?” (hot patootie-bless my soul) while Will sits with dissatisfaction and everyone is dancing around. When Carl is done Sue yells “we don’t need an Eddie!” Will is quick to agree and Carl fires back that Eddie would be more appropriate for the show. Will is being such a hater, I don’t like it one bit! Mercedes interrupts the tension when she says she wants to be Frank N Furter and everything is set in place when she becomes Dr. Frank and Carl becomes Eddie.


In rehearsal Finn tells Mr. Schuester he is saving his underwear debute for the opening show, the Sam interrupts and asks if he can have longer shorts because he thinks the one he is wearing is too short and he might show some serious nuttage. Mr. Schuester tells them they can’t talk about that now and continues the rehearsal when Mercedes belts out “sweet transvestite” I think she made an awesome Frank even though it’s suppose to be man her voice fitted the part. In this number you really notice how detailed the costumes and make up are I had to watch it 20 times because I was so amazed at how great they were and so close to the original.


Mr. Schuester convinces Sam that playing Rocky might not be a good idea after all since he felt so uncomfortable and then takes over his role. He asks Emma to help him practice “Touch-a touch-a touch-a me” a little uncomfortable about it she practices it with him while Santana and Brittany watch. Emma strips will and herself during the practice and dance around the room. When the two almost kiss Emma realizes what just happened she runs out of the room. What a steamy performance may I just say, who knew Emma could be so touchy.


Finn tries to work out more to be in shape when Sam tells him about not playing rocky he think it’s because of his self confidence of his body. When Finn starts to think he will be replace too Sam tells him no he’s not because “being Brad isn’t about being hot it’s about being confident and who you are and how you look no matter how douchie you look Brad is cool with being uncool”. Aw what a touching moment between them. Finn sees what Sam is talking about and gets more confident meanwhile, the glee club tries to rehears a scene without Finn there and it gets interrupted with Mr. Figgins calling him to his office where Finn is for walking around the halls in his boxers to get ready for his scene. Finn was facing one month’s suspension and summer school and Mr. Schuester fights to get that overruled. Mr. Figgins informs Will that 9 people signed up for after school therapy for what they witnessed after a bit of convincing Mr. figgins lets Finn off with a warning and tells Will going on with the show is putting himself and the Glee club on the line for hate and for whatever reason he’s doing it better be worth it.


Carl interrupts the practice of the show and tells Will he’s not quitting because unlike him he believes in the power of the arts and not using the show to pick up other mens woman. Later when Becky reveals that Sue called the Rocky show an obomination she shows him the tapping of her expose’ dissing the show revealing she was undercover the whole time. Becky then tells will “Give me my chocolate or I’ll cut you!” When Sue shoes Will that the show is bad exposure he agrees with her and decides to pull the show and Sue gets mad because he ruined her chance at winning a local Emmy. Will confesses to Emma and admits what Carl is doing is good for Emma and he loves her enough to let her go. He later apologies to the Glee club for putting them through the craziness and tells them the show is canceled but they are still going to perform it for themselves. The show ends with the kids performing “The Time Warp”.

Overall the show was absolutely amazing the costumes were outstand the makeup was fabulous and the storyline was exciting and interesting.

Review/ Recap: Glee; Duets.

Hello my lovely bloggers,

Heres another Glee Review of Duets.



In the Episode Duets we learn that Puck has been put into juvenile jail for driving his mom’s car into a convenience store and driving off with the ATM. He did wah? So Will then welcomes Sam Adams into glee club and Quinn has this look like she’s interested but yet intimidated at the same time. The glee students new assignment for the week is a duet which has also been made into a competition with the grand prize of dinner for two at everyone’s favorite restaurant “breadsticks”. Kurt welcomes Sam into glee by telling him has instincts and 3 of them are his voice, trends in men’s fashion, and when it comes from a bottle. After Kurt pushes the comfort level he apologizes and tells him he’ll make it up if he teams up with him for a good chance of winning. Brittany and Santana are in the room KISSING! Yes lady and gents they are kissing but they don’t mention anything about being lesbian Santa comes right out to say she’s only kissing her because she needs something warm beneath her since puck is in the slammer. Santana asks Mercedes to be her duet partner and she agrees to. Finn tells Kurt to back off Sam a little because he is making a big bulls eye on him to be made fun of if he sings with him. Kurt then goes on back to when Finn called him a name in the basement and Finn apologizes and tries to get Kurt to understand him and says of he does sing with him he will get so much crap from everyone he will have to quit glee club.

Finn and Rachel Sing “Don’t go breaking my heart” for practice as their duet and Rachel then says she’s not a nice person and selfish and wants Sam to win the competition so he can feel like he belongs and betters their chances of winning nationals. Tina tells Mike that they are going to sing a duet together and Mike freaks out that he can’t sing and tells Tina all he does is dance around her. Brittany butters up Artie to have him as a duet partner by telling him they are boyfriend girlfriend. Finn tries to convince Sam not to pair up with Kurt because if he does he might get a lot of crap from it and the Sam fires back that first he tells him that Glee will make him popular and now he is telling him he will get killed. Sam tells Finn that he gave Kurt his word and that’s that and walks out of the locker room to get splashes with a slushy. Quinn helps Sam clean up and they both have a nice conversation with each other. Kurt starts taking care of his dad by feeding him healthy food and making sure he is relaxed. He talks to his dad about Sam and His dad sides with his dad with the reason that he found out Kurt wasn’t completely honest and Carol (Finns Mother) told him that Kurt had a crush on Finn and wasn’t afraid of showing it. Kurt blew up saying he can’t be friendly with straight guys because the homophobic people might get mad. When his dad tells him singing with Sam might not be a good idea Kurt gets mad because he is the only open gay kid in town and he still can’t be himself. His dad tells Kurt until he finds someone like him he has to get used going at it alone Kurt gives in.

Mercedes and Santana performs “River deep, Mountain high” as their duet with an awesome choreographed dance. Kurt walks into the shower room where Sam is and tells him he is free to do a duet with someone else. Rachel and Finn put their minds together to figure a way to get Sam to win and decide to do an offensive bad song. Tina goes to Artie asking him to sing a duet with him and Artie quickly denies her request. Kurt sings a duet with himself, Le Jazz hot with two personalities. Which was flipping amazing! Sam and Quinn spend some alone time in the class room practicing a duet an attempted kiss scares Quinn off because she just got her life back and she is not ready for what is about to come between her and Sam. Tina and Mike perform “Sing” as their duet and is perfect for Mikes situation and makes a great debut to Mikes voice. Finn confronts Sam about trying to kiss Quinn and tells him he messed up but insist they he tries to sing with Quinn. Rachel talks to Quinn about Sam telling her that singing with Sam would keep her at the top of the pyramid and winning the competition. Quinn Fires back at Rachel asking her what is her angle because her winning means she will lose and she knows Rachel doesn’t like losing. Rachel simply says she just wants healthy competition for the team While Finn tells Sam he’s not saying he will win be maybe second place. Sam goes to Quinn to apologize and asks to sing together while promising the mistake won’t happen again. Artie tell Brittany that he isn’t over Tina yet and Brittany tells Artie that she has a solution and picks Artie up and takes Arties virginity away. Finn and Rachel sing their “horrible” duet of “With you I’m Born again” with insensitive costume choices, nobody likes what they did and they pretend to act shocked when they are told this. Sam and Quinn then perform their duet “lucky” with a cute intro of Quinn helping Sam with the Guitar and just a cute connection through the whole song. Santana is obviously upset and jealous Sam and Quinn AND Artie and Brittany. Santana tells Artie that Brittany is only using him for his voice and He gets really upset. Brittany insist that she wanted to go to breadsticks with him and was going to order one really long string of spaghetti and has been practicing nudging a meatball across the table like in “lady and the tramp”. Artie then tells her that taking his virginity away for mark of how many guys she slept with was insensitive and having sex meant a lot to him because after his accident they were insure if he can even do that and it was a miracle that he could and she walked all over it. Brittany apologizes and Artie said he withdrew out of the competition and leaves her standing alone. The Glee club vote and the winners are Sam and Quinn. Everyone is upset and Rachel pretends to be upset with everyone else. Rachel talks to Kurt and tells him they are more similar than he thinks and tells him that they are going to win nationals this year because they have him, and there are twelve people that love him exactly the way he is. Rachel wants to sing a duet with Kurt of a song with all the things they love just for love. Sam and Quinn go to breadsticks for their free dinner. Sam and Quinn talk about things and he admits that he put lemon juice in his hair when he found out he was moving to try and look cool. Quinn tells Sam his hair looks cute and takes the certificate off the table and tells Sam he is paying when he asks why she says “A gentlemen pays on the first date” which I found to be extremely cute! Brittany is eating spaghetti alone behind them. Rachel and Kurt sing “happy days are here again” to close the show as they show all the kids of Glee.

I absolutely love this episode! It shows everyone’s personality so well in little time. The duets were outstanding and lovable. I will have to add it to my top ten when the second season is over. :D

Review/ Recap: Glee; Grilled Cheesus

I am going to try and make this as short and straight to the point as I can. (no promises)

Grilled cheesus starts off with Finn making a grilled cheese sandwich and when it was done there was a picture of Jesus on it so he thought he would pray to this grilled cheeses in hopes that Jesus would help the team win their first game and if they did he would honor him in Glee club. Kurt hurts his fathers feelings when he tells him he won't be at their traditional Friday night dinners that was started with his mother. Kurt picked a music event over dinner. Finn brings up tributing Jesus in Glee club and Kurt disagrees and puck sings "Only the good die young". Kurt's father has a heart attack and Kurt is heart broken and taking it really hard as anyone would. Finn prays to his grilled cheesus again to let him get "closer to Rachel". The glee club shows their sympathy to Kurt and Finn has a fit that he is the last to know about Kurt's father. Mercedes struggles to comfort Kurt with words so instead she sings "I look to you". Kurt's eyes water up but lets everyone know he doesn't believe in God. Everyone is upset by his decision and he tells them he doesn't want their prayers. Sue tries to band the Glee clubs lesson on religion. Finn thinks he gets his prayers answer when Rachel lets him touch her chest.

Sue goes to Kurt and tries to sympathize Kurt but really she just wants Kurt to make a statement that his is uncomfortable with the religion lesson. Sue lets Emma know why she doesn't want religion to be sung in glee because when she prayed for comfort with her sister's disabilities she felt mocked. Finn is at it again when he prays to be quarter back again when Puck walks in and says he went to church with his nanny to pray last night too when he catches Finn praying. Rachel sings "Papa can you hear me?" in the park with Finn along side her so she can be sure God hears her prayer. She later sings it in the hospital with Kurt's Father. When she sings this I notice her neckless and it says Finn. Kurt walks in after Rachel is done singing and he get's upset and asks everyone to leave. Sam gets injured during a game and Finn gets his quarter back title back. Kurt wants to express his feelings in a song when he tells a story about how his dad holding his hand tightly when they were at his mothers funeral, it's only right that he performs "I want to hold your hand". An Emotional performance stunned everyone in the class including myself. Mercedes invites Kurt to her church services that is dedicated to his father and persuades him to go by saying he can wear a fabulous hat.

Finn confesses about his grilled cheesus to Ms. Pillsbury and she tells him that his prayers weren't answered because of his grilled cheesus. Finn gets upset and sings "losing my religion" and questions God later. Mercedes dedicates a song "bridge over trouble waters" during her church services. While Sue is visiting her sister she asks her if she believes in God and she asked sue do you? Sue says no because she watched the world be cruel to her. Her sister told Sue that "God never makes mistakes and that she believes. Do you want me to pray for you sue?" Sue answers that would be nice and sheds a tear. Kurt talks to his dad about memories and apologizes to him for not letting his friends pray for him, he lets him know they he doesn't believe in got but he believes in him. Kurt's father tries to hold his hand and it's a great sign that he is going to be okay. The Glee club sings "one of us" and Sue watches in while they do and tells Will it's okay.

I have a few opinions on this episode because it's ratings were low. Once the word God or Jesus is said lots of people run away or instantly turns it off. I know not everyone believes in God or Jesus and that's perfectly fine everyone is entitled to their own opinion and beliefs but they have no right bash the people that do believe. It is also unfair that we can't talk about our beliefs because the ones that don't believe want to throw a fit but it's okay for them to parade around saying they don't believe? no! So I was extreamly happy that Glee did this episode it shows all aspects of peoples beliefs you have some that believe and some that don't you have a few different religions shown. They had a great message and I give it 5 stars for it!

Review/ Recap: Glee; Britney/ Brittany

In last weeks episode "Britney/Brittany" The McKinley High Glee club wants to do numbers by Britney Spears for their fall homecoming performance. Will tells the kids no because he doesn't think she is a very good role model. Brittany then agrees with the funniest statement of she too doesn't want to do Britney because her whole life she has been in her shadow. "My name is Brittany Suzanne Pears, Making it Brittany S.pears" When Kurt makes a statement Santana did the famous "LEAVE BRITTANY ALONE" line. Which I couldn't resist laughing at.

Finn is bullied by the members of the football team when they take his lettersman jacket and rips it in half and calls him all sorts of names when Arti comes to appologize about getting him kicked off the team the jocks then leave. We meet Emma's new boyfriend Carl who is a dentist and Will lets him come to Glee practice to teach kids dental hygiene and gives them all capsules to see how much plaque is on their teeth and what they miss when they are brushing. Lets just say Rachel, Arti, and Brittany don't pass the test. Brittany says she washes her mouth out with pop, how many people wash their mouth with pop? Then again Kesha brushes her teeth with a bottle of jack. Brittany is later sent to the dentist office for some heavy duty work and is put to sleep with anesthesia while pandora is playing Britney Spears's "Im a slave for you" Brittany then has a dream she is reacting the song with different outfits Britney wore such as; Oops I did it again red leather outfit, Toxic Nude jeweled outfit, and the VMA's Slave for you outfit with yellow boa.

Finn and Rachel talk about Finn not being on the football team and Rachel admits she is happy because now she doesn't have think about what song she would sing by his bed side while he's in a comma or all the cheerleaders chasing after him. Her selfish honesty makes Finn upset. Santana goes to the dentist with Brittany to get anesthesia and they both have fantasies about reacting Britney's video Me against the music which was an exact replica of the video. Brittany was Britney and Santana was Madona.
Britney Spears makes an appearance at the end of the fantasy.

Brittany Demands she has every solo after she tells the Glee club about her and Santana's fantasy. Kurt sticks by Brittany's side and says Britney gave her confidence with a reply of "I'm more talented than you all and I can see it clearly now, It's Britney....Bitch!" Kurt then starts talking about how they need to do Britney and talks back to Will getting him sent to the principles office, which is something that isn't something we see happen to Kurt that often or even Will sending anyone to the office in general.Will Is later in the dentist with Carl and we then see Will's jealously with him and they both talk it out about the situations they both could be in. When Will comes out Rachel is in the waiting room, when she then has her own Britney fantasy Which is "Baby one more time" She does an exact replica of the video the school, the gym, the outside, and all the same clothes. Britney Spears makes an appearance as the teacher.

Rachel then changes her style after she had been teased once again by Santana and Brittany earlier and Finn agreed responding to her hurtful response of him not being a football jock. Finn isn't too happy that She did this because of all the attention Rachel starts getting. Rachel then tells Finn he can rejoin the football team if he wants. Will buys an exact car like Carl's but in yellow and shows it off to Emma, by taking her for a ride in the parking lot when his ex wife shows up telling him to return the car and its not right.



Artie has his own fantasy of being on the football field and in the gym working out while singing Stronger. He then later goes to ask Finn to help him convince Coach Beiste to let him be on the team, when Finn says he needs to help himself right now. Coach then walks in telling them that Artie can be on the team and to go get some equipment. Later Will agrees the kids can do Britney at the assembly but he will be joining them in their performance.

Rachel changes back to her old style, which i found to be better than her kitten sweaters which were too adorable. She goes into the locker room to show Finn she changed back to make him feel safe and happy and in hopes he would quit the football team to make her feel safe and happy. Reminding him the fling he had with Santana and Britney and she feels better if they were losers together. When Finn tries to tell Rachel that he will acknowledge her as his girlfriend she doesn't think it's enough. In that time that they were hugging didn't Finn look like a giant monster next to Rachel?



The Glee club performs a seductive performance of Toxic in front of the whole school with a good feedback except Jacob, my goodness was that disturbing all together. As well as Laurens response to Will's performance. When the performance was over Sue ended the "Britney sex riot" by pulling the fire alarm sending every kid out the door. Later Sue has a neck wrap from the acts of a sex riot running out the door and threatens will with everything he has. Emma gives Will some advice to be himself and not someone who he is not, such as Carl when will then leaves to return his car.

Rachel asks Quinn to go up to Finn to try and get him to hit on her or take her back to see if he truly loves her, Finn tells Quinn he will always have feelings for her but he loves someone else. Rachel then is happy and sings "The only Exception" in glee practice and dedicates it to Finn and apologizes for trying to control him.

I would give this Episode four stars out of five because I expected to see a little more Britney and possibly a few more songs from her. They have put more songs in one episode. Heather Morris was absolutely AMAZING in this episode and i am glad they finally showed off her talent in singing and dancing!

Songs and Ratings:

Slave for you ***** Heather did an amazing job singing it, and she looked amazing in all the different outfits

Me against the music ***** Yet an another amazing performance couldn't tell the difference from the original.

Baby one more time **** It was good but not the best, i would have rather seen Heather Morris perform this song Lea's pitch was to high.

Stronger **** For a guy singing it, it wasn't bad at all but I just didn't feel enough emotion in the song like original but it was still amazing!

Toxic ***** I love that it was half acoustic and Half with music, the seduction was quiet seductive.

The Only Exception ***** This was AMAZING sounds just like the original Lea Michelle did a fantastic job, Haley Williams was quiet impressed as well.

Review/ Recap: Glee Season 2 Premiere; Audition

Glee Season 2 Premier!!! How awesome was that episode?



Warning it's long.

So lets recap/review this episode Silvia style;

The show begins with a new school year the kids are coming back from summer break and there are new juicy things to gossip about such as Rachel's controlled relationship with Finn, Puck getting "fixed" so he wont go through what he went through last year-wah? I know thats crazy!, Quinn being back to herself again, and much more.

We Meet 3 new Characters in this episode First up is Coach Beiste Pronounces "beast" it's just spelled fancy. Before we are introduced to Coach Bieste we learn that the Cheerios and Glee clubs funds have been cut 10%. Sue and Will aren't to happy about this and get angered. After Will reads some comments on Jacobs blog and decides they need to bring in some new members so New Directions Preform Empire State of mind (song reviews at the end) to make the club more upbeat.

Will agrees to team up with Sue to bring Coach beiste down which sounds like a bunch of trouble. While all of this is happening Finn Is hanging up flyers to bring in people for auditions when he discovers Sam Evans Singing "Every rose has it's thorn" in the shower, sound familiar anyone? When Rachel is hanging up her flyers in the girls bathroom she is introduced to the exchange student "sunshine" and then go into a fierce/friendly song battle of telephone. I found this whole scene hilarious.

Will and Sue start their pranks by sending 50 pizza's to the school in Beiste's name, when the deliverymen says she has to pay for them or he has to and his baby will be reusing pampers for another week, Beiste pulls out cash to pay for them and their prank back fires when she gives the pizza's to the team and offers Sue and Will some pizza. Over the summer Tina became close to Mike and dumped Arti when he didn't spend enough time with her. So Tina and Mike are now an item and Arti wants his lady back and gets the idea of joining the football team and asks Finn to help him get on the team.

Finn hunts down Sam Evans and tells him all about glee and uses his popularity to bring him in. When he agrees to audition he comes to meet Puck and Mike. Puck makes a statement about Sams mouth being big asking "how many tennis balls can he fit in there" making the moment awkward and a reply of "I don't know I never had balls in my mouth, have you" hahaha I found this scene super funny for the lamest reason. Sam Then Pre-auditions with "billionaire" and the boys join along.

After Rachel discovers that Sunshine is really good she feels the competition and makes notice of Sunshines height saying she's shorter than me. She asks someone to slushy Kurt, Mercedes, and herself in front of sunshine so she will change her mind about glee club Mercedes and Kurt tell Rachel no. Sue make a plan called "the mean girl plan" where they don't let coach Beiste sit with them at lunch and after Will tells Beiste no she then makes note that she knew Sue was the school bully and was told Will was the cool one but obviously they were wrong, making will feel bad for what he had done.

Coach Beiste is then seen crying in the locker room and takes out her emotions on Finn when he brings Arti in asking her to let Arti try out by saying Finn is off the team for making her turn down a kid in a wheel chair. She then starts yelling at him to get out when he says "calm down dude". I felt bad for Coach Beiste at first then got mad at her then felt bad again. After Finn was kicked off the team he felt the need to be apart of a team to be popular so he tries out for Cheerios. Which was the funniest scene in the whole show! didn't see that part look it up on youtube!

When Quinn was turned down to audition for Cheerios again she went to Sue to tell her about Santana's summer plastic surgery. When Sue calls Santana in she tells sue she got her boob job to be noticeable. Sue reminds her of the no plastic rules and demotes her from the top of the pyramid and says Quinn will take her spot as top cheerleader, which leads to a huge fight between the two in the hallway. Which I found to be completely shocking and yet a whole new side of Quinn.

Sue Reaches an all time low when she gets Britany to lie and say Coach Beiste Touched her chest, when Will finds out that Britany is making false Sexual Accusations he convinces her to tell the truth when she does she says that she didn't touch her breast but she kinds wants to touch hers...oh Britany. Rachel goes to tell sunshine about auditions and gives her the place and time to go. Which turns out to be a crack house. Making sunshine a no show for auditions and Sam as well didn't show up. Mike and Tina find out about what Rachel did to Sunshine and tell Will and everyone isn't happy with Rachel. Rachel then apologizes to Sunshine and tells her to come to the auditorium the next day to try out. Sunshine Auditions the next day with the song "Listen" and is welcomed to the Glee club.

Will Apologizes to Coach Beiste and Sue then comes in with some whole grain special cookies that are actually made out of dog poop. When Will tells Sue the pranks are over she informs will he will pay. They all later find out that Sunshine is leave Mickenly high to go be in Vocal Adrenaline because they gave her a condo and green cards for herself and her mom, also because she can't trust Rachel. Turns out Sue called the new coach of Vocal Adrenaline. Finn finds Sam to ask him why he didn't show up to audition for glee club, Sam tells Finn he couldn't join because he's the new guy trying to fit in.

Rachel and Finn talk about what she did tells her she was selfish because they could have used Sunshine to beat Vocal Adrenaline, Rachel tells Finn to do it already and break up with her, when he reminds her that hes not in football any more and he's just a glee loser. They both tell each other they wont breakup with each other and Rachel keeps assisting she did it for the team. She then closes the episode with "what I did for love".At the very end she walks into the classroom to apologize. I found the last scene to be very emotional and hard to take in at first.

The show was awesome, there was way too much going on to really talk about what i felt about certain parts so thats why the blog is mostly recap. Hope I filled you in on the Episode "Audition"

Songs:
-Empire State of mind ***** I am not a big fan of rap or R&B and I hated this song when it was sung by Jay Z and Alicia Keys! When Glee Sung it I seen it in a whole new light. It was nice to see them sing a song from a different catagory and see Cory Monteith Rap =)

-Telephone ***** I love this SO much I think the one major reason is the competition between Lea Michele and Charice. Lady GaGa would be proud!

-Billionaire ***** I like this version better than the original and I think its a clean version. :) plus Chord Overstreet is gorgeous!

-Listen ***** Woah! do I need to say more, Charice has some lungs on her!

-What I did for love ***** I have always loved this song and Lea did the emotions of the song justice!
